Youth Service Day

This academic year the youth will focus on our call from Christ to serve those around us through works and deeds. Beginning this month, one Saturday of each month will be dedicated to the youth participating in a service day at various places and with various organizations throughout the city.

Saturday September 23rd, will be the youth groups first day of service and it will be right here in our parish. To assist the Buildings and Ground committee as they begin laying new grass on the south lawn, the youth have been asked to help place squares on the lawn and then water and work in the grass in a fun way, with a massive water balloon fight to follow.

The service day will be from 9:00 – 11:00am, and all water balloons and breakfast tacos will be provided. All parishioners are invited and youth are encouraged to bring any fun water toys with them as we make sure the lawn is watered. If you have any questions please reach out to Bryan at any time.
