Baptism

Baptism is the full initiation by water and the Holy Spirit into Christ’s Body the Church, and the bond God establishes in Baptism is indissoluble. All who have been baptized by water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, regardless of denomination, are able to fully participate in the life of the parish.

If you have not been baptized, come and talk with one of us! We would love to talk about the next steps in your walk with God, and in the life of the parish. Baptism is available for all ages and is a wonderful occurrence in the worship of the parish. Baptism takes place during one of our Eucharist services on Sundays, as the congregation promises to support you in your continuing faith journey.

Baptism is especially appropriate as outlined in the Book of Common Prayer on these specific feast dates:  The Baptism of our Lord, The Great Vigil of Easter, Pentecost, and All Saints Sunday.  We do offer other Sundays throughout the year at the discretion of the Rector.

If you would like to inquire about Baptism for you or your child, please submit the form linked below for our Ministry Support Associate, Sara Spreen, to contact you. If you have questions, please feel free to reach out to Sara at 210-828-6425.
