Choral Evensong

Join us for our first Choral Evensong of the new term and experience “the beauty of holiness.” The musical style of our first offering is mostly contemplative beginning with Farrant’s Call to Remembrance as we prepare our hearts and minds for worship, Smith’s Responses, Sumsion’s light and approachable Canticles, then something new and ravishing: Gabriel Jackson’s I gaze upon you. The piece expresses the divinity of love in an impressionistic manner, with dreamy harmonies and eloquent text. Then socialize afterwards with a reception in the parlor.
