The Mustard Seed Day School

We believe children learn through exploration and play, so children are exposed daily to art, music, interest centers and circle time while reinforcing Christian principles. Zoo Phonics is used to teach children letters using a fun, whole body approach to learning. Daily gross motor opportunities are provided on our outdoor adventure playground with lots of trees and natural elements. The children attend Chapel where they hear the word of God and experience his love with worship led by St. Luke’s Director of Children and Family Ministries, Kris Spilker.

Our program is licensed by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission and follows a school year calendar. New for the 2025-2026 school year, our program will operate Monday through Friday from 8:30-2:30 with half day and full day options, as well as 2-day, 3-day, and 5-day choices. There is also optional early care from 7:45-8:30 available. We are a small program with only two classrooms, ages 18 months – young 2’s and older 2’s – 3 years old, with two teachers in each classroom.

Enrollment for each school year begins in January. Available spots are offered to new students on our waitlist with priority given to church members or siblings of The Mustard Seed and St. Luke’s Episcopal School students.
